Tour itinerary

📅 Day 1 - Welcome to Quito

From 17:00, your guide will pick you up at the airport or terminal in Quito (meeting point previously coordinated). We will head to the Dann Carlton Hotel, where we will check-in and receive key information about our adventure. Afterwards, you will have free time to rest and prepare for the next few days full of excitement.


📅 Day 2 - From Ambato to Salinas de Guaranda

After check-out, we will travel to Ambato, the Land of Flowers and Fruits, for a city tour that will reveal the secrets of the city. After a comforting lunch, we will continue to Salinas de Guaranda, where we will visit community sausage, dairy and chocolate factories. We will stay in a cozy local hotel.


📅 Day 3 - Páramo life and unique flavors

After a night in the paramos, we will head to the Quero canton, in Tungurahua, to stay in one of its oldest haciendas. We will enjoy life experiences, walks in the páramo and, with luck, sightings of mammals such as wolves and páramo rabbits. In the afternoon, we will explore the center of Quero and visit the La Quereñta brewery, where we will taste an authentic craft beer made from potatoes.

📅 Day 4 - Adventure in Baños de Agua Santa

After a hearty breakfast, we will depart for Baños de Agua Santa, where we will visit the Basilica of the Virgin of Agua Santa and the iconic Tree House for a thrilling swing in the sky. After lunch

📅 Day 5 - Heading for the Amazon

Our journey continues into the Amazon jungle, with a first stop in Mera, where we will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Pastaza River.Then, we will head to Puerto Barantilla, where a canoe will take us to our lodge in the middle of the jungle.

 

📅 Day 6 - Nature and adventure in the jungle

This day will be dedicated to exploring the Amazon. We will walk through the jungle, observe animals and enjoy water activities on the Arajuno River, connecting with the natural wealth of this region.

📅 Day 7 - Rafting and relaxation in Papallacta

After check-out, we will depart to El Chaco for a dose of adrenaline by rafting on the Quijos River, where we will experience the jungle from a unique perspective. Afterwards, we will travel to Papallacta to relax in its famous hot springs, the perfect ending to a day full of emotions.

📅 Day 8 - Discovering Quito

After check-out, we will return to Quito for a fascinating city tour. We will tour buildings with more than four centuries of history and taste one of the best chocolates in the country. To end the day, we will enjoy an unforgettable dinner at Café Mosaico, with breathtaking views of the city.

📅 Day 9 - Farewell and return

After breakfast and check-out, you will have free time to explore Quito at your own pace. Later, we will meet to take you to the airport or terminal and say goodbye, until the next adventure!
