Tour itinerary
-Day 1-
Your guide will pick you up at 5:00 p.m. from the airport or the terminal at which you arrive in the city of Quito (the meeting point is coordinated once the reservation is confirmed), to take you to the Dann Carlton Hotel, where we will meet, we will stay our first night. Once at the hotel we will check in, we will receive instructions for our trip and the next day's activities, and we will have free time to rest.
-Day 2-
Once we have checked out of the hotel, we will leave for the Land of Flowers and Fruits, Ambato, where we will have a city tour and we will be able to discover the magic that is hidden in the land of the three Juanes. Once our tour of the streets of Ambato is over, we will have a refreshing lunch to continue our trip to Salinas de Guaranda. In Salinas de Guaranda we will arrive at our hotel where we will check in and continue with a tour of the community factories, where we can find production of sausages, dairy products, and even chocolates.
-Day 3-
After a restful night in one of the páramos of the Ecuadorian mountains, we will head towards the cold lands of the Quero canton, in the Tungurahua province. There we will visit and stay in one of the oldest farms in the province, where we will have experiential activities, as well as walks through incredible moorland ecosystems, and if we are lucky, we will be able to spot mammals such as wolves and moorland rabbits. In the afternoon we will have a short tour of the cantonal capital of Quero. Then we will visit the La Quereñta Brewery, where we will have the opportunity to try an exquisite potato-based craft beer.
-Day 4-
On the morning of our fourth day and after having a good breakfast, we will start our journey towards Baños de Agua Santa. Once in Baños, we will visit the Basilica of the Virgen de Agua Santa, where we will learn more about its history, then we will go to the famous Casa del Árbol to have an adventure shot on the sky swing. In the afternoon we will have our lunch and visit the impressive Pailón del Diablo waterfall. After this visit, we will go to our Luna Volcán hotel where we will have time to enjoy its facilities, savor a delicious dinner and have a pleasant night's sleep.
-Day 5-
On our fifth day, we will begin our journey to the Ecuadorian Amazon, having Mera as the first stop, where we will visit a unique photographic spot, which will allow us to appreciate the Pastaza River in the best way. Then we will advance to the province of Napo, to Puerto Barantilla, where a canoe will be waiting for us with which we will enter the jungle where we will have days of adventure and contact with nature.
-Day 6-
On this day we will dedicate it to contact with nature, for which we will allocate it to activities such as walks through the jungle, animal observation and why water activities in the Arajuno river.
-Day 7-
Once we have checked out of our lodge, we will start the trip to El Chaco, where another activity full of adrenaline will be waiting for us. We will go rafting on the Quijos River, where we will be able to observe the Ecuadorian jungle in a unique and adventurous way. After our morning activity, we will go to Papallacta, to enjoy its hot springs, which will relax us after a long trip.
-Day 8-
Our penultimate day will be devoted to learning about La Carita de Dios, our beautiful city of Quito. After checking out, we will travel back to the Ecuadorian capital. Once there we will have a city tour full of history and culture, where we will visit a building that is more than four centuries old and we will have the opportunity to taste one of the best chocolates in the country. We will close our tour with an incredible dinner at Café Mosaico, where we will be able to appreciate the magical sunsets of Quito.
-Day 9-
We will have our breakfast and we will check out of the hotel. This day will be free for us to explore Quito on our own. The schedules are coordinated to meet us for the last time, to be able to take you to the airport or terminal so that you can continue with your trip through Ecuador or back home.
