Tour itinerary

📍Day 1: Welcome to Quito!

From 17:00, your guide will be waiting for you at the airport or terminal in Quito (meeting point to be coordinated when confirming your reservation). Then, we will go to the Dann Carlton Hotel, where we will check-in and you will receive all the information about the trip. Afterward, you will have free time to rest and get ready for the great adventure that awaits us.
 
🏙️ Day 2: Quito, history and flavors
Today we will explore the magical Carita de Dios. We will tour the historic center of Quito, with its churches and museums full of history, and make strategic stops to taste Quito delicacies such as humitas, tamales and traditional sweets. To top it all off, we will taste one of the best chocolates in the country.
 
⛰️ Day 3: Adventure in Ruco Pichincha and the Middle of the World
In the morning, we will ascend the imposing Ruco Pichincha, where, if the weather favors us, we will have a spectacular view of the Avenue of the Volcanoes. After a well-deserved lunch, we will visit the Ciudad Mitad del Mundo and the Intiñán Museum, where we will discover the pre-Hispanic culture and perform fun experiments on the equatorial line.


🌳 Day 4: Exploring the Mindo cloud forest.
After check-out, we will head to the cloud forest, with a stop in Nanegalito to refuel. In Mindo, we will live an adrenaline-filled experience with adventure activities. After a delicious lunch, we will visit a butterfly farm and a chocolate factory to learn about the Ecuadorian cocoa production process.

🛍️ Day 5: Handicrafts, waterfalls and flavors of Imbabura
We start the day with breakfast in Cayambe, where we will taste the famous biscochos and queso de hoja. Then, we will head to Otavalo to visit its emblematic Plaza de Ponchos, a paradise of handicrafts. In the afternoon, we will visit the magical Peguche Waterfall, and in Ibarra, we will taste the traditional paila ice cream in one of the oldest ice cream parlors in the city.
 
🏞️ Day 6: Cuicocha, Cotacachi and El Angel
Today we will immerse ourselves in nature. We will start with a guided tour of the beautiful Cuicocha Lagoon and the charming town of Cotacachi, famous for its leather goods. Then, we will head to El Angel Paramo, where we will spend the night at the magical Polylepis Lodge, surrounded by an enchanted forest.

 
🍃 Day 7: Relax at Polylepis and return to Quito.
Before checking out, we will enjoy the facilities of Polylepis Lodge. Afterwards, we will stop for lunch at the Yahuarcocha Lagoon before returning to Quito. To close with a flourish, we will have a special dinner at Café Mosaico, with an unparalleled view of the city.

 
✈️ Day 8: Farewell and free time
After breakfast, we will check out. This day will be free for you to explore Quito at your own pace. Finally, we will coordinate transfers to the airport or terminal, so you can continue your adventure in Ecuador or return home with unforgettable memories.
