mindo  Extreme

Get to know the Mindo River, which has been dragging the hubbub of the most daring who dared with some adventure to do extreme sports in its waters, on our tour you can go tubing and get to know these waters better.

 

In addition, you will see the process and learn how chocolate is made from "bean to bar" and if you want you can also try one of the best chocolates in the country.

Tour itinerary

The tour starts at 07:30 am at the meeting point (Tribuna de los Shyris; Av. de los Shyris between Av. Portugal and Holanda) to depart for Nanegalito, where we will have a short technical stop and enjoy a delicious box lunch, to then continue our trip to Mindo.

 

Once in Mindo we will meet the guide who will accompany us with our activity in the morning, which is tubing down the Mindo River, this activity is designed so that you have a dose of adrenaline and get to know Mindo in a very fun way.

 

Once this fun activity is over, we will have our well-deserved lunch and after the same free time to explore Mindo on our own.

 

After getting to know Mindo a little more, we will have a delicious chocolate tour, where we will learn about the entire process of making one of the best chocolates in the country, and we will also have the opportunity to try it.

 

Finished our delicious chocolate tour we will begin with the return to the city of Quito and thus end our tour.

On the day of the tour, you will find one of our guides at the meeting point with a crimson t-shirt and a sign with the Kunakkuna Experiences logo.

  • Camera or Smartphone

  • Clothes to get wet in the river (it is recommended to wear canvas shoes to carry out the activity)

  • Change of extra clothes (includes an extra pair of shoes)

  • Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.

  • Comfortable walking shoes.

  • Rain jacket (rain poncho) we are in the cloud forest, we never know when it will rain.
