📍 Meeting point – Plaza de los Presidentes: Our guide will welcome you, share interesting facts about Quito, and explain the day's itinerary.
🥘 First stop – Traditional hueca: Mote con chicharrón: In this little gastronomic gem, you will enjoy one of the most representative dishes of the Ecuadorian highlands: mote blanco accompanied by crispy chicharrón, all in an authentic and welcoming atmosphere.
🍤 Second stop – Hueca con sabor a mar: Ceviche: We will visit a hueca that fuses the freshness of classic ceviche with innovative touches, highlighting how this dish is appreciated throughout Ecuador, even in regions far from the sea.
🍲 Third stop – Coastal hueca: Encebollado: You will taste the iconic albacore fish soup, with its unmistakable flavor of yuca, cilantro, and pickled onion, prepared with a contemporary twist to conquer modern palates.
🍌 Fourth stop – Southern Hueca: Tigrillo: In this cozy space, you will try tigrillo, a traditional dish made with green plantains, cheese, egg, and onion, which blends tradition with a renewed presentation.
🍺 Fifth stop – Ecuadorian craft beer: Here you will enjoy a tasting of locally produced craft beers, made using traditional methods and with unique aromas that perfectly accompany the culinary route.
🍟 Sixth stop – Local fast food: Salchipapas: Discover the local version of this popular street food, accompanied by homemade sauces that give it a unique flavor.
🍨 Seventh stop – Sweet ending: Ice cream with cheese: To refresh your palate, you will taste traditional Ecuadorian ice cream with a special touch of cheese, a surprising and delicious contrast.
🛍️ Special stop – Salinerito Shop: We will visit this space dedicated to fair trade and solidarity economy products, where you can buy artisanal cheeses, chocolates, sausages, and more, made by the community of Salinas de Guaranda.
🍫 Closing – Paccari Chocolates: We end the experience with a visit to this renowned Ecuadorian organic and sustainable chocolate shop, where you can enjoy a free tasting of their fine chocolates and learn about the fine aroma cocoa grown in Ecuador.

Just make sure you reserve your spot and on the day of the tour, you will find one of our guides at the meeting point, wearing a wine-colored t-shirt, a wine-colored hoodie, a black cap or a wine-colored umbrella with the Kunakkuna Experiences logo.
