Tour itinerary

🌟 Start your adventure at Plaza Grande, where our guide will give you a warm welcome and some recommendations to make your experience unforgettable. From the heart of Quito's Historic Center, we will explore the history that lives in every corner.

🏰 Archbishop's Palace: Here, in addition to learning about its history, you will have the opportunity to taste delicious Quito sweets and discover the mystery behind the famous Mistelas.

Basilica del Voto Nacional and El Panecillo: We will pass by a perfect place to learn about these emblems of Quito. Then, we will visit one of the most beautiful churches in the city, such as the Church of La Merced or the Church of El Sagrario, depending on the schedule. Here you will learn about the Quito School and the indigenous traditions that have influenced it.

🛣️ Calle de las 7 Cruces: This street, full of religious and economic history, will take us to one of the most interesting moments of the tour.

🌇 Arco de la Reina and García Moreno area: We will continue our way through this area, admiring historic buildings, until we reach the charming Barrio La Ronda, a bohemian place full of stories of 20th-century Quito.

🍦 Flavors of Quito! In La Ronda, you can enjoy the famous paila ice cream and delicious Ecuadorian coffee, an experience that will make your palate feel in paradise.


⛪ Closing with a flourish: We will end at the Church of San Francisco, home of the famous Virgin of Quito. Here, you will learn why Quito is known as the Cradle of Beer and, to finish, you will enjoy a chocolate tasting at a local chocolate shop, where you will learn all about the process of making the best chocolate in the country.

Just make sure you reserve your spot and on the day of the tour, you will find one of our guides at the meeting point, wearing a wine-colored t-shirt, a wine-colored hoodie, a black cap or a wine-colored umbrella with the Kunakkuna Experiences logo. That's how easy it is to identify him!

What to bring to make the most of your tour?
Here are some tips to make your experience perfect:

  • Camera or smartphone to capture the most unforgettable moments.

  • Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses to protect you from Quito's radiant sun.

  • Bottled water (you can buy it on the way to stay hydrated).
